The Service Department is to be expanded and developed to include the following:-

• Relocation of existing equipment

Consarc Acquires PV/T

Consarc Corporation, the Rancocas, NJ-based manufacturer of high-performance vacuum furnaces, has bought PV/T Inc., the Mt. Laurel, NJ maker of quality vacuum melting and heating furnaces. PV/T will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Consarc Corporation. The PV/T product line extends Consarc's already wide range of vacuum and controlled atmosphere furnaces. The acquisition provides PV/T with access to Consarc's worldwide network of sales and service offices, along with its engineering, manufacturing, and financial resources. Future plans include consolidation of operations.

"Consarc gains additional state-of-the-art products for vacuum casting, brazing, and heating. PV/T adds the global reach that Consarc's and Inductotherm's international sales and customer support network can provide."

PV/T Inc. has been in the specialty vacuum furnace business since 1965. Its product lines include a wide range of furnace models for vacuum induction melting, vacuum brazing, and vacuum heat processing.
